1. Who we are

RNDSOL is a software development company based in Lahore, Pakistan, serving clients across the GCC, North America, and Europe. This policy explains what personal information we collect through rndsol.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language on purpose: if anything here is unclear, email us at info@rndsol.com and we will explain it.

This policy covers the rndsol.com website only. Client engagements are governed by their own contracts, NDAs, and data processing terms, which take precedence for any project data we handle on a client's behalf.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you use our contact form, request a proposal, or use tools such as the Cost Calculator, you may provide your name, email address, company name, phone number, and details about your project. When you apply for a role, you provide your CV and the contact and career information it contains.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard analytics data: pages visited, time on page, referral source, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment details through this website, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not buy data about visitors from third parties.

3. How we use your information

Contact and proposal inquiries are used solely to respond to you and, where relevant, to prepare a scoping conversation or proposal. Career applications are used only to evaluate your candidacy. Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to improve the site.

We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you explicitly ask to hear from us, and every email we send includes a way to opt out.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used. These services set cookies that identify your browser session, not you as a person. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and the site will continue to work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate this website, such as our email delivery provider (for contact form notifications) and analytics providers named above, and only to the extent needed for those services. Each provider is bound by its own contractual and legal obligations to protect your data.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RNDSOL, our clients, or others. We will never disclose more than the law requires.

6. Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any engagement that follows, and are then deleted or archived. Career applications are retained for up to twelve months so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Aggregate analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

You can request deletion of any information you have given us at any time, and we will confirm once it is done.

7. Data security

We apply the same standards to our own website that we apply to client work: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access to submitted information limited to the people who need it to respond, and no storage of form submissions in third-party systems beyond the providers listed above.

No internet transmission is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data we hold.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over your personal data, including under the GDPR if you are in the EU or UK and the CCPA if you are a California resident. These typically include the right to know what data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to object to certain uses.

We extend these rights to everyone who contacts us, regardless of jurisdiction. To exercise any of them, email info@rndsol.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

9. International transfers

RNDSOL operates from Lahore, Pakistan, so information you submit is processed in Pakistan and in the systems of the service providers named above, which may be located in other countries. By submitting information through this site, you acknowledge this transfer. We handle all personal data under the standards described in this policy wherever it is processed.

10. Children's privacy

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted clearly at the top of the policy. We will never retroactively weaken the protections described here for information already collected.
