Terms of Service 

1. Overview and acceptance

These terms govern your use of the rndsol.com website, operated by RNDSOL, a software development company based in Lahore, Pakistan. By using this site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Actual software development engagements are governed by separate, individually negotiated agreements: a statement of work (SOW), a master services agreement (MSA), and typically a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) signed before discovery begins. Where these terms and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.

2. Our services

RNDSOL provides custom software development, cloud migration, AI and data engineering, cybersecurity and compliance services, IT staff augmentation with dedicated development teams, UI/UX design, and mobile app development, and licenses two proprietary products: Edutig, a school management software platform, and Linetig, an enterprise ERP.

Descriptions of services and products on this site are informational. They are an invitation to discuss an engagement, not a binding offer. Scope, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are defined only in a signed SOW.

3. Website use

You may browse this site and use its tools for evaluating RNDSOL as a potential partner. You may not scrape, bulk-download, reproduce, or redistribute site content without written permission, misrepresent your identity in forms, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

4. Calculators and estimates

Tools on this site, including the Cost Calculator, ERP vs. Custom Build tool, and Team Size Estimator, produce planning-stage estimates based on general industry assumptions. They are not quotes, proposals, or commitments. Actual pricing, scope, and team composition are determined through a scoping conversation and documented in a signed SOW.

5. Intellectual property: this website

All content on this site, including copy, design, page code, the RNDSOL name and logo, and the Edutig and Linetig product names, is the property of RNDSOL unless otherwise noted, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing on this site grants you a license to use any RNDSOL trademark or content beyond ordinary browsing.

6. Intellectual property: client work

RNDSOL's standard engagement terms provide full transfer of intellectual property to the client. Upon payment for the relevant work, all deliverables created specifically for a client, including source code, designs, documentation, and configurations, are assigned to that client in full. Work is performed in repositories and infrastructure the client controls from day one wherever practical.

Two standard carve-outs apply, and both are stated in every SOW: pre-existing RNDSOL materials and generic tooling used across projects remain RNDSOL's, with the client receiving a perpetual license to use them within the deliverables; and licensed products such as Edutig and Linetig remain RNDSOL property, with clients receiving the license terms defined in their product agreement.

7. Confidentiality

RNDSOL treats information shared through this site's contact forms as confidential and uses it only as described in our Privacy Policy. For engagements, confidentiality is governed by a signed NDA, which we are willing to execute before any discovery call. We do not use client code, data, or business information for any purpose outside the engagement.

8. Third-party links and services

This site may link to third-party websites and uses third-party services such as Google Analytics. RNDSOL does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is at your own discretion and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimers

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Content may contain inaccuracies or become outdated, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RNDSOL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, or for decisions made solely on the basis of estimates, tools, or content published here.

Liability arising from an actual engagement is addressed in that engagement's signed agreement, which defines warranties, remedies, and liability caps specific to the work.

11. Governing law and disputes

These website terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore, Pakistan have jurisdiction over disputes arising from use of this site. Client engagements may specify a different governing law or a dispute resolution mechanism such as arbitration in their signed agreements, and many of our international engagements do; the signed agreement controls in that case.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
